Dear Mr./ Ms. Hsieh,
Congratulations. Your application has successfully passed the first phase of the application process, satisfying the general criteria of International Experience Canada.
Today, your file was transferred to the Visa and Immigration section for the second phase of evaluation. The Visa and Immigration section will contact you through email in the coming days with further instructions on information they require to complete the processing of your application. Please ensure that you have added hkong-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca to your email account safe senders’ list to ensure that you receive these messages.
If you comply with the instructions provided in a timely manner you should receive the final result of your application in eight weeks. Please be patient as we will not respond to emails regarding the status of your application during this period.
If your application is refused by the Visa and Immigration section, you will receive an email explaining the reasons for this refusal. The International Experience Canada section will then return your participation fee cheque to you by mail.


If you do not receive an email or a letter informing you of the decision and your contract starts in less than one week and/or the total eight-week processing time has been exceeded, please alert us to this situation by email at iectaiwan@international.gc.ca
Important notice: For those whose passport is not valid for the 25 months we require, to expedite the process, you may wish to renew your passport immediately. Alternatively, you may choose to wait until the Visa and Immigration section determines whether you are admissible to Canada before renewing your passport, however you should be aware that this may result in delays in issuing your Letter of Introduction.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Dear Applicant:
 
A medical examination is required to establish that you and your family members, if any, whether accompanying you or not, are able to meet Canadian health requirements. This is a routine part of the processing of your application and does not imply in any way that your application has been approved.
 
The following individuals must complete a medical examination:
 
- NAME:  Wu, xx-Hsuan        DOB:  26xxx198 3
 
  • You must go to one of the CIC-approved clinics.  To find your nearest CIC-approved clinic, please see the list of clinics at:  http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/ medical.aspx.  A Canadian physician will review the results. Results are received at our office between 3 - 5 weeks after the date of your visit to the clinic. We cannot expedite these procedures.
  • You may be required to undergo additional medical tests at our request. Costs for any additional tests or examinations are also your responsibility.
  • Medical clearance is valid for one year after the examination. Medical reports and X-rays become the property of the Canadian medical authorities and will NOT be returned.
You must go to the clinic within 15 days after you receive this letter. 
 
  • Before you go, print a copy of this email message and bring the printed copy of this e-mail message with you to the medical examination. Failure to do so may lead to the refusal of your application.  <請列印這張 到指定醫院體檢>
  • For each person taking the medical examination, please present to the examining doctor:
·         An original passport
·         4 passport-sized photos
  • When attending the examination, you and each person to be examined must:
a)     if you wear glasses, take them with you,
b)     if you have had tuberculosis, bring along all of your previous X-rays and reports,
c)     tell the doctor about past illness, operations or any treatments you are receiving.
 
  • Failure to reveal a past medical condition will cause considerable delay in processing your case.
  • Upon completion of the examination the clinic will provide you with a copy of your medical form (IMM1017) with your photo affixed, showing that you have taken the medical examination.  
NOTES:
    1. We will not accept any medical results that have not been done at one of the CIC-approved clinics.
    2. We will not respond to messages sent in reply to this email.  Inquiries must be sent to our case-specific inquiry mailbox by following the prompts at this address:
 
PLEASE NOTE: Medical examinations are part of the application process. They do not guarantee the issuance of a visa.  All costs for the medical examination and for mailing the results are your responsibility and are to be paid by you. We will contact you to advise you of the next steps in your application.

**需驗尿(多喝水。女性需注意經期時間，生理期間前後不宜進行體檢)

**體檢資料會直接快遞到新加坡，若沒有異常，將不會給予申請者體檢報告。 


Important Notice re Completion of Medical Exams: Please note, once you have completed your medical exam, you are not required to send the receipt to the Visa and Immigration section in Hong Kong. You may wish to keep the receipt for your personal records. The results of your Medical Exam will be sent onward by the Designated Medical Practitioner and you will be contacted in the following weeks with further notifications or instructions. Unless instructed, you are not required to take further actions at this stage.

關於完成體檢的重要訊息: 請注意: 一旦完成體檢, 您無需再將醫院的收據或証明寄到香港的簽證移民組, 您可自行保留做存檔用. 您的體檢報告結果將會由指定醫生送出並在接下來的幾週通知您是否需要複檢. 除非有被另外通知 不然您在此階段不需再進行任何動作.
