Pathways橋樑課程

為期兩學期之碩士生橋樑課程目的是為準備進入一個碩士學位課程之國際學生所設計，該課程結合了專業的英語培訓課程和學術課程，協助學生順利成功地在美國知名大學作好預備並銜接以下其中一項碩士課程：

l   Master in Business Administration (MBA )

l   Master of Science in Finance

l   Master of Public Administration (MPA)

l   Master of Science in International Affairs and Global Enterprise (MIAGE)

l   Master of Science in Economics

課程內容

Term 1

•      Intro to Grad Writing 1

•      Advanced Communication Skills for Graduate Students

•      Advanced Pronunciation and Oral Skills for Graduate Students

•      Academic Course to fulfill a prerequisite

Term 2

•      Intro to Grad Writing 2

•      English Language Skills for Business, Economics, and Finance

•      2 x Academic Course to fulfill a prerequisite

•      Academic Course may be taken with undergraduate students to fulfill prerequisite requirements.

•      Students will be allowed to take up to 15 credit hours that prepare them for graduate study per semester.

•      GMATR/GRER Test Preparation courses will be offered each term but may require an additional surcharge.

•      Academic advising and instruction will be done in consultation with faculty and staff at the University of Utah’s Department of Linguistics.

申請條件

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution of higher education;

• Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0 or better on a scale of 4.0 in cumulative undergraduate work and;

• Minimum English level score of TOEFL 500 PBT / 61 iBT, or IELTS 6.0 or better.

• MBA requires minimum 2 years of professional working experience, and MPA prefer 1 year work experience or internship.
