English for Academic Purposes
College Preparatory English (CPE)
College Preparatory English courses have been designed for students whose original education was completed in a language other than English.
Credit and non-credit courses are offered to students who are preparing for, or are already taking part in, post secondary studies.
We help students:
ü Gain credit for English 12 for entry to BCIT or another college or university
ü Upgrade language for undergraduate and graduate studies
ü Upgrade skills in academic presentation, writing and reading
ü Improve pronunciation and communication skills

English for Careers Career Training with ESL
These programs offer ESL learners certified career training together with integrated ESL instruction. Courses include:
ü Baking and Pastry Arts ESL
ü Culinary Arts ESL
ü Home Support/Resident Care Attendant/ESL
English for Professional Advancement (EPA)
The focus is on language and socio-cultural competencies required for success as a professional in the Canadian workplace. EPA is a flexible, individualized program with monthly intake. Completion of EPA Level 4 may be used for entry into some of Vancouver Community College’s applied programs. EPA may be taken full-time or part-time.

課程日期: 4 months (1101 + 1001 = 2 months / 1102 + 1002 = 2 months)

入學要求: 完成 English 098 & 099課程或 TOEFL iBT 82 (Reading &
Listening: 21 and Writing & Speaking: 20) or雅思6.5 (no band less than 6.0)

課程Level: Lower Beginner to Upper Advanced
Program Type: FULL TIME

課程時間: 3 months per level
